Fancy Restaurants in Chicago to wear my new dress to?
My boyfriend and I are taking a trip to Chicago this labor day and want to have a fancy dinner because I bought a dress a few months ago and he suggested we have a "classy date" and I wear it. I have looked up some places online and have found restaurants that sound good but I'm not exactly sure all of them are appropriate to dress up for. A few I have found are:

The Signature Room
The Chop House
NoMi
Everest
Alinea
Deca
Charlie Trotters
Tru
I dont eat seafood and i have realized at most of these places that is a large portion of the menu.
Could you give me some suggestions to new restaurants or opinions on the ones listed above? And which would or wouldnt be appropriate to really dress up for.

You have some great places on your list. The Signature Room is a fantastic place for a new dress. The view is probably the best view you can have from a restauranti in the world. The food is better than "good" and the prices are high but not outrageous.
If price is no issue then Cite, Everest, Alinea, Tru, and Charlie Trotter's will be fine.
Add to your list a few other fine places:
Gibsons...both the Chicago and Rosemont restaurants are 1st class. I would imagin that the new Oakbrook place is too:

A relatively new place for the Chicago area has been serving fine food for many years in Washington, DC. Now there's a Sam & Harry's in Schaumburg...I've been to both places and will return again:
