Can you help me find a cartoon online I can email a friend?

It's the Calvin and Hobbes one about the Self Help book - I've found the text, but not the cartoon.

"Calvin: Yep. I'm writing a self-help book! There's a huge market for this stuff. First, you convince people there's something wrong with them. That's easy, because advertising has already conditioned people to feel insecure about their weight, looks, social status, sex appeal, and so on. Next, you convince them that the problem is not their fault and that they're victims of larger forces. That's easy, because it's what people believe anyway. Nobody wants to be responsible for his own situation. Finally, you convince them that with your advice and encouragement, they can conquer their problem and be happy!"

My boss just gave to a colleague and me a self help book (Fish), and I want to send that to them. It comes from Homocidal Psycho Cat, I think.

Help me out - earn 10 points :D

This site only lets you view a month from 1995 but maybe you could get creative. You could download some other dialog strip and sort of 'Dub in' the dialog with an image editor.

edit:

I've just noticed it's a flash display but a screen capture would still work.

  2. FYI. If you have friends that fish, ask them if you can have the bones, skin and any extras. Back in the early years before we became a Nation… the Natives use to put whole fishes in with their crops due to the soil up in New England. New England has the same density and lack of nutrient that Florida has. Or you can go to a fish market and ask for the guts and bones there as well. Also any shells from any oysters or clams (grinded down) will help.:) I was born in Florida.. and a lot of my family still lives, and farms there.

That was simply GREAT. You have said it all. 100% true even if I wasn't around in 1900 it still applies to the "nice" life and not today's mad world.

    Hi Graham

Actually the goods depot was spread over 0.34 of a mile between Vine Street bridge, where the accumulator and headshunt was situated, all the way down to the bridge at Snow Hill station. The blob on the map indicates the southernmost extent of the depot, which at that point was directly underneath the Smithfield fish market (now there's an interesting thought…!)

Click here for a map of the goods depot.
