Can you raise a lobster without the salt water?
I want a pet lobster and instead of ordering one online i just wanna buy one at the store is that possible, like will it live?
Can I give it life without having to go through all the hustle and bustle of salt water???
Or
whats an easier way to do it?
1. you cannont have a salt water lobster in an aquarium without salt water... lobsters require over 75+ gallon aquariums and nothing else in it besides the lobster as they are very aggressive.
2. there is an alternative for you. i own a electric blue crayfish/ freshwater lobster, its in a 10 gallon aquarium and its about 5 1/2 inches long which is its max...i had it for about 2 years and i feed it carnivore pellets,shrimp pellets and sometimes vegetable pellets. i keep its water at 70 degrees, 7.6 ph, 0 nitrates, 0 nitrites and 0 ammonia. i have many caves created by sheets of rocks with java moss and plastic plants. i have 1 fish that i got for free, and 1 rabbit snail with a bunch of babies. crayfish are the freshwater's lobster and are fairly easy to keep. my electric blue crayfish cost 30 bucks, the regular red ones cost 1-3 dollars, unless you go to a bait store and buy it for like 50 cents but they wont be very healthy unless they just got a new shipment.
so i suggest you go with a crayfish....
