How to prepare sea beans?
At Whole Foods today my daughter and I spotted something I have not seen before. It is a green veggie called a sea bean. We tried a bit and it has a very strong, salty flavor we both enjoyed. It was comprised of small, bright green stalks with small buds on them . I have looked online and not found any recipes or suggestions for how to cook or serve them. Any help, links or ideas would be most welcome!
Hi, Annie. I hate to see any question go unanswered, but I think you've stumped the panel on this one. Like you, I did a search for recipes and struck out. But I do want to know what a sea bean is, so I hit Wikipedia.

I'm still not happy with the definition. You'd think Whole Foods would provide a recipe on such little known food.

My tip is if you want your hair to grow quicker and thicker. Take sea kelp tablets from a health food shop. I learned about this online, tried it, and am SO glad I did. It's only been a few weeks and I swear my hair is longer and thicker and people have commented, almost overnight. I know its growing fast because usually I have to shave my underarm hair every 5 days - now it's every 1-2 days! Hope I've helped some women here.

Please post photos of your oily seafood online, if you get any. We don’t trust an FDA paid for by our own taxes, that has been sacked by the Bush admin and not fixed by the Obama admin. Hopefully, there isn’t much oily seafood going around out there, but WHO KNOWS?
