Get used to it, Atlanta. You can’t half-step it in Charleston…you have to bring it each and every day or get swept under by the next young lion chef. Hungry, and wanting to make a name for him/her self.

Alright, so u want to lose weight. I'll give you my diet, which I did a while ago and lost pretty good amount of weight per week. (around 3 pounds a week or so). The fact that you have volleyball is really good, but you'll need to do exercise over the weekend as well since you probably don't have any practice on weekends. You need to eat 3 meals a day. Try to make them as fatless and caloriesless as possible. (Some frozen meals are pretty low in calories due to their dietetic title. Try some of those if you want). Any kind of cardio exercise is good to do at least twice a week. It will improve your cardio which will help you get less tired while working out. Whenever you feel hungry, drink water or grab some kind of vegetable or fruit that you like. NO JUNKFOOD!!!!!!. If you'll follow all of these tips, I'm sure you'll be on the right track.

Don't go overboard though. You are 14 which means you are still developing and getting taller, so you have to eat good and healthy foods. Don't starve yourself because if you do, you will gain that weight back faster than you lost it!

    I hope I helpe :)

Okay qirl, I'mma be honest with you. 15lbs isn't as hard as you think, one thinq you have to do, is not obsess. trust me, it doesn't help. okay, now you can eat, just try not to eat after a set time that works for you. i don't eat after 5. Now I'm 134lbs, and also am 5'4 but remember you are growing and your body will probably be quite different in a couple of years. I'm on a goal to be 115 too and i'm going to let you know how I've been doing this. Just to put this out, i weighed 165 when i started my diet. I don't eat after 5. Exercise, i walk A LOT! but i wish i had enough stamina to do aerobic work. I'm just lazy but the fact that you play sports is good. Also, 1000 calories a day? Okay babe, do you know what 1000 calories a day is. Eat three snickers bars and your set for the day. Don't count calories, never works—–at least for me. I eat when I feel hungry. Simple, don't put your body through pain. trust me, you'll gain it all back if you starve yourself. Eat healthy, and don't be afraid to endulge, and maybe you will lose weight by october, or maybe it'll take until december. But your 14 years old and lucky, the weight will fall off a lot quicker than you think, and even though you'll wish it would be all off in october. its just as worth it in december.

Take it one day at a time. Don't eat 'super healthy' on your first day, because, not only will that be difficult to do, but you'll most likely feel discouraged as well.

Exchange your current crunchy snacks (chips, candy, etc) to apples, pretzels, and baked chips. Then start exchanging in your current sweet snacks (brownies, cookies, etc.) to grapes, 100-calorie snacks, and oranges, that way you're still able to get that sweeter taste.

Don't do all of this one day. Take it slowly.

As for losing about 20 lbs in 2-3 months, you might want to add cardio to your lifestyle as well. I'd suggest doing around 45-60 minutes 4-5 times a week of running/jogging/whatever keeps your heartrate up.
