Help! Dried Shrimp? Ebi (Dried Shrimp) What dishes can I make using those small dried meaty shrimp with?
Does anyone know any delicious dish that uses this small meaty dried shrimp. Got a box full of it. I've been using it as an additional side snack with drinks. Thought i'd make something using it, does anyone know any good main dishes/recipes. I'ld like to know what dishes are called, & will try recipes from diffent parts of the world that uses this. So much dried shrimp to work with & have guests to try. Thank you for your help.

How can I make homemade ramen with only clean meats?
I love food exploring, and I am also obsessed with Japan, so I wanted to try making my own authentic ramen, or at least as close as I can get without going to Japan. But, looking at recipes online, I have been encountered with a problem. I am a Seventh-day Adventist, so I eat only clean meats as said in Leviticus 11, but most of these recipes call for pork or seafood. Is there a way I can get around these? I do not mind vegetarian recipes.
Yes.
Leviticus 11:9 says you can eat scaled fish, and 10 simply says not to eat non-scaled fish (like sharks, or marine mammals). So I don't see the problem with fish. If you don't fish your own, then get them at the fish market or at the seafood counter at the grocery, so you really know what you are getting. Most ramen uses bonito flakes, which are dried fish -- bonito is a scaled fish, so you are okay...
You can certainly substitute pork with any meat you want, or just go vegetarian.
