seafood gift Need To Send PACKAGE from US to VIETNAM Safely?
Hi I live in San Jose, CA. Last August I went to Vietnam for the first time and met a lot of my family + inlaws there. They took real good care of me. It was nothing but Heinekens, Hennessy, Seafood, and Girls. My cousins never tried Tequila yet so I want to buy 2 bottles of Patron and send it to them as a new years gift. Can anyone give me a step by step guide into doing this and making sure the package gets their safely (not lost)? (patron is expensive) I could get the address. It's in Binh Duong not too far from Ho Chi Ninh City. Anyone knows (guess okay) how much it's going to cost to ship? 2 big bottles of patron wouldn't weigh more than 5 pounds. Are there any rules about sending booze to VN? Thanks!!!
Ummm I dont know what the regulations are about sending alcohol to VN. But if you're worried, there are services where you can have stuff delivered to their house without you having to buy and pack the gifts. I know one is called queen's flowers and gifts (aka 4mua). Basically, you choose the gift out of a catalog and they deliver it straight to their house.
If you want to buy the gift yourself, there are also shipping services that specialize in sending to Vietnam. You can choose to have the packagage delivered to the house or picked up from the airport. It's pretty safe, I know many people, including my family, that have done this and nothing has been lost, broken, or replaced (even laptops and Wii games). Try OA cargo or Vietlink Global. Since you're in CA, it wouldnt be that hard to find, just ask around (or try googling it).
