A "Study In Lobster" Dinner Menu?
A "Study In Lobster" Dinner Menu? I am trying to plan a very special dinner for some friends of ours who just gave birth to their first child. Their favorite food is lobster, so I will be flying in some live lobsters for the occasion. I am a gourmet cook (at home; not professional) but I have a really tough time planning menus. What I would like to try and do is have a menu where each course incorporates lobster somehow. I realize lobster can be very rich, so balancing different dishes and balancing the ingredients within those dishes will be key to a successful dinner. I hope someone here can provide a several course menu and recipes/links or ingredient details. Since I will be "playing" with the lobster as main ingredient with the appetizers and other courses, should I just serve simple lobster and butter for the main course? Thank you so much for your help! PS Our friend is a true wine expert, he will be bringing the wine(s) based on the menu. Thanks!
