Steeping Lobsters?
I recently heard about steeping lobsters which requires POURING boiling water on top of them in a pan. Has anyone tried this method? Does the flesh turn out differently than traditionally boiled / steamed lobster?
Also, has anyone tried live lobster sashimi?
I have never heard of anything but boiling, steaming and grilling.

Frog sashimi lobster sashimi etc?
I'm really upset right now because I just learned what that is and I do not know how anyone could take pleasure eating a live animal. can someone please explain me why people do this
I know it's culture I just thought people were more humane than that.
I am a former chef and worked in a Canadian managed Hotel in Japan in the 1980's and while I have seen and did consume a lobster sashimi straight from the tank and it's antenna's were still pulsing, I have never heard of frogs being used as there legs are the only edible part, I had the deadly fugu also, most is not live, some places have fish tanks with sea bream, snappers and small grouper, rock lobster or pacific crayfish, but these are specialty places, not the norm
