Seafood Gifts Anniversary present for parents needed- they will be spending a week in Orlando and it must be a surprise!?
My parents are spending four days in Orlando this upcoming week in celebration of their 30th wedding anniversary. They haven't been on a vacation in over 15 years so I really want to do something special for them.
My dad is not big on shows, so that's probably out--- neither one of them really cares for amusement parks or rides. I was thinking I would get them a nice gift certificate to a restaurant. Dad loves steak, Mom does not - so if it's a steakhouse it would have to have lots of food options. Both love seafood. I wanted to get a gift certificate to a restaurant in Epcot Paris, but I don't know if that is possible?
THis would have to be a place where I could pay for in advance and give them either a gift certificate or just let them know to go to the restaurant. Other suggestions besides restaurants are welcomed as well if you have one... my parents are in their 50s and my price range is $100-$300.
Thanks!
We had a gift basket made up for our daughter's 16th birthday, but they have wonderful anniversary baskets too. The WDW Florists were great to work with. They allowed us to make up our own basket. We didn't like everything in their pre-made baskets, so they allowed us to mix & match from other baskets. My favorite idea are the personalized washcloths & towels, you could also add a photo album for the pictures they'll take. These are things they can keep to remember their trip & your thoughtfulness. We stayed on-site & had it waiting in the room. If your parents aren't staying on-site you'd have to check if they could deliver to another site or a Disney restaurant where they will be dining. You can go to the Disney Store, if you have one in your area & get Disney Dollars or a gift card they could use. You could put it in an Anniversary card & tell them to open it upon arrival. Two seafood places I could recommend are the Cape May Cafe Buffet at the Beach Club. You can get there by walking through the exit in Epcot that is closest to the United Kingdom, or the Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot. You do need reservations. You're a sweet daughter, to be doing this for your parents. I'm sure they'll have a fabulous time.
Seafood Gift Poll: What was the worst/mistaken/most embarrassing gift you ever GAVE?
Everyone has that 1 mistake- like giving a gift certificate to Red Lobster to someone with a seafood allergy (that would be me as a recipient), etc. Seeing this list will make me, and hopefully you, feel a wee bit better about giving a loved one a Snuggie this year! Happy Holidays!
Probably a candle lol. But worse I also reused this really nice Christmas bag and I forgot to rip off the previous dedication tag and she read it out loud to everyone there.

Seafood restaurants in Hawaii?
Does anyone know a good seafood restaurant in Hawaii? The island Oahu, preferably Honolulu area.
Actually, any restaurant will do, but a good one. No fast food, please. Maybe something that has a website I can order a gift card from. Chain restaurants will work, too, like Olive Garden and Red Lobster. I just don't know what Hawaii has to offer, or where to look for the restaurants.
There is an Irish Restaurant called MacDonald's. They have lots of burgers and Pommes Frittes
